Filler system
Epoxy filler systems for repair, renovation, and surface treatment
Advantages of epoxy filler systems
A key advantage of our epoxy fillers is their outstanding adhesion properties on a wide variety of substrates such as wood, steel, concrete, or fiber-reinforced composites, provided they are properly pre-treated. They are solvent-free, low in odor, and can be easily sanded and further processed after curing. Thanks to their high water and vapor resistance, they are ideal for use below the waterline, such as in boat repair or the treatment of osmosis damage. In addition, they offer strong chemical resistance, are semi-flexible, and compensate for material stresses – making them perfect for areas exposed to varying loads.
Fields of application for epoxy fillers
The epoxy filler systems from HP-Textiles are used across multiple industries and projects. In boatbuilding and yacht refurbishment, they enable easy repair and treatment of osmosis damage. In construction, they are applied for crack repairs, surface stabilization, or substrate smoothing. In industrial production and automotive manufacturing, they help create durable, smooth surfaces for subsequent coatings. Typical applications range from fine filling of small defects to large-scale surface repairs and functional coatings in corrosion protection and renovation.
Application of epoxy filler systems
Our epoxy filler compound HP-E30S is easy and reliable to use. After mixing the resin and hardener in the correct ratio, the filler can be applied evenly using spatulas or spreaders. After a short time, the surface is dust-dry, and once fully cured, it can be sanded, coated, or painted. Depending on the substrate, consumption is approx. 150–250 g/m². For special applications – such as in boatbuilding below the waterline – the epoxy filler is ideal for repairing osmosis damage and ensures a smooth, durable surface.
