** Special items from the automotive industry. The PU impregnation fixes the fabric very well so that it can be cut to size without any problems. Very suitable for structural applications **
** The length of the rolls may vary. Therefore it is possible that a position from 10m² consists of several rolls**
Areas of applicaton:
Moddeling, sport equipment making, ship and boat construction, motor sport, carbon design, aircraft construction, ...
Use for carbon look parts / Gluing the fabric
Due to the PU impregnation, this fabric has a uniform, homogeneous fixation. It can easily be cut without fraying. So it can be cut out and adhered to existing component (eg with HP-E25KL or HP-FIX400). Subsequently, it can be sealed then in several layers with a low-viscosity epoxy Topcoat Resin (eg HP-E25D or HP-E40D)
Use in the vacuum injection process.
Due to the PU impregnation, this fabric has a uniform, homogeneous fixation. It can easily be cut without fraying. We recommend low-viscosity epoxy resin systems. Ideally, it will be used in the vacuum infusion process (IMC-process) with our epoxy resin HP-E200GL (or HP-E120RI plus UV stabilizer HP-BEL91). Ideal for large, flat applications, such as: As plates or boards.
For complicated corners, curves or three-dimensional geometries this fabric
is not suitable because it is quite stiff due to the impregnation.
