160 g/m² Spread Tow Carbon Fabric Plain | HP-P161SC

This Spread-Two-Carbon-Fabric is a fabric with a standard 3K spreaded fibres. It is very thin through the spreading of the single filaments but nevertheless is the fabric very closed. You achieve an increased strength and a lower resin consumption because of the low fibre bending. It is ideal for design applications because of its’ unique carbon look.

The simplest weave
Very slip-resistant
Bad drapability
Suitable for flat plates or easy moulds

Twill

Diagonally running lines are characteristic
Better drapability than plain weave
Less slip-resistant
Suitable for complicated geometries

Satin

Suitable for complicated geometries
Very good drapability
Low slip-resistance
Less mesh crossing, therefore strength in the laminate
Leaves a very smooth surface
