Glass Fabrics are available in different constructions. The important characteristics you will find below:

Plain

The simplest weave
Very slip-resistant
Bad drapability
Suitable for flat plates or easy moulds

Twill

Diagonally running lines are characteristic
Better drapability than plain weave
Less slip-resistant
Suitable for complicated geometries

Satin

Suitable for complicated geometries
Very good drapability
Low slip-resistance
Less mesh crossing, therefore strength in the laminate
Leaves a very smooth surface
