3D|CORE™ 2 mm XPS-foam with punched holes | HP-3DXPS-PH-2
The used polystyrene foam (XPS) only has a density of approx.. 45Kg/m³. It is the ideal foam core for many lightweight, dynamic or static loaded sandwich structures. Due to the low resin absorption and the small cell size, the weight/performance ratio is significantly better than many other foams.
Due to the special perforation, this core material is also excellently suited in the vacuum injection or in the IMC/MTI® process. The special structure makes it particularly flexible without breaking. Suitable for all common, solvent-free epoxy resins.
