Covering System - Topcoat - Epoxy Resin | HP-E40D
This epoxy-system is an transparent, unfilled combination of resin and hardener with medium working time and low viscosity.
Features & Benefits
- High resistance to UV radiation, very slight yellowing
- Good wet-out of reinforcement fibres
- Cause bright, non-gluey (tack-free) surfaces and casts; suitable for carbon-look laminates (observe Tg MAX)
- Cold-hardening, applicable from 10°C
- Additional usable for transparent coating (floor coating as well) or casting up to 10mm layer-thickness
Product Properties Epoxy System E40D
- Colouring: colourless / clear
- Mixing Ratio (by weight): 100 parts resin : 50 parts hardener
- Mixed Viscosity: low viscous
- Working Time (pot life): 40 minutes (100g at 20°C)
- Working temperature (optimum): 15 - 25 °C
- Working temperature (minimum): 10 °C
