This infusion resin HP-E3000RI was developed in cooperation with the University of Osnabrück and tested by the ignition Racing Team of Hochschule Osnabrück, it was used among the others for the construction of the vehicle “IR09“ - “IR18“ (carbon fibre monocoque) of the Formula Student.Features & Benefits:
- Very low viscosities and excellent fibre wet-out and flow properties
- Pot-life time adjustable between 30 (hardener HP-HTE30RI) and 300 minutes (hardener HP-HTE300RI)
- Fast hardener HP-HTE3RI for very short curing cycles available
- Glas transition temperature 98 °C (with hardener HP-E120RI)
- High dynamic and static strength
- Vacuum-infusion methods (IMC/MTI, RI, VARI, SCRIMP®,…)
- Pressure injection methods (RTM, RIM,…)

- Hand laminating
- Optical application such as visible carbon parts (hardener HP-E120RI)

- Colouring: transparent
- Mixing ratios: 100 parts resin / 30 parts hardener (by weight)
- Working Time (pot life): 300 min (at 20°C or 68°F)
- Working Temperature: 20 - 30°C
